Global Category Manager (m/w/d)

Your duties Head of Global Category Management: Ensuring innovative, market-intelligent procurement and the availability of goods and services; Responsibility for the metal profiles and tubes Global target control: definition, implementation and monitoring of category targets and KPIs in line with global targets Purchasing strategies: Development and implementation of global sourcing strategies including continuous market analysis and coordination with regional category managers Contract & Supplier Management: Management of contracts, supplier development and integration of global requirements Demand Consolidation: Bundling Global Requirements and Ensuring Top-down/Bottom-up Vote Stakeholder & Interface Management: Working with internal teams, suppliers and external partners Strategic Sourcing & RFx: Head of Calls and Sourcing Projects incl. Negotiations taking into account compliance and efficiency potentials Market & Data Analysis: Provision of Market Insights, Trends and Supplier Data to Support Global Strategies Standardization: Ensuring global processes and harmonisation and transparency Head of various global projects in the field of procurement and performance optimization

Your profile Completed studies in commercial or technical fields (e.g. BWL, economic engineering etc) or comparable training Mind. 3 years of experience in a comparable position in strategic purchasing with a focus on metal profiles or raw materials Detectable successes in the implementation of global tenders and negotiations in the international environment Experience in stakeholder management and international teams Strong communication personality with pronounced networkability Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Impressed negotiating strength, analytical thinking
