The MTG Marinetechnik has been the centre of knowledge and competence for all projects of the Dimension Lake for 60 years. We advise and support our customers in every step of the planning and procurement process – from strategic requirement management in the early planning phase to meaningful capacity maintenance during use. We break the process in its complexity to make the essential decisions visible. We act as an independent system house and, in addition to orders for the Bundeswehr, we also take over tasks of industrial companies in the national and international environment. For this purpose, our experts from the engineering, natural and economic sciences work in an interdisciplinary manner in agile teams and projects. Due to the central and connecting character of the Dimension Lake, we also operate interfaces to the other dimensions such as air or cyber. We are looking for you as a full-time or part-time manager (m/w/d). In this position, you take a key role in building, operating and developing our own AI platform. Together we create a secure, powerful and forward-looking infrastructure for the use of Large Language Models and drive the digital future of our company.

Construction, administration and continuous optimization of our local Large Language Model (LLM) stack Operation, administration and further development of our container and cluster infrastructure Planning, evaluation and implementation of new AI features and evaluation of new LLMs Building and maintaining secure data pipelines for connecting internal documents, systems and sources of knowledge to our AI platform Development of robust monitoring, logging and scaling concepts for the AI infrastructure Advising the areas of expertise with regard to safe AI workflows and participation in the implementation of safety guidelines Participation in implementing IT security measures, in particular with a view to regular use of Large Language Models Administration of Linux servers and IT services Independent analysis and elimination of IT disputes Cooperation in IT projects and the introduction of new systems and technologies Documentation of IT systems, configurations and processes

Complete training in IT, a study of computer science or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in these tasks Very good knowledge in the field of Large Language Models, their architecture and operation Discovered experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman or Containerd Multiannual experience in the productive operation of Kubernetes and k3s Good knowledge of Inference pipelines, vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented-Generation (RAG) systems Very good knowledge of Linux, system and network administration Impressive interest in new AI technologies and their safe and sustainable use Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
