The EDA department develops electrical and electronic components for our tactical vehicles. The aim is a flexible, scalable system architecture based on defined functions and requirements.

As System Engineer (m/w/d) Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) you support the development at system and subsystem level.

Your tasks include: Analysis and production of technical specifications in the field of electromagnetic fields (EMF) Considering relevant standards and customer requirements within the development process Participation in solutions for electromagnetic compatibility and compliance with legal requirements Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, test and verification documents Participation in design and development reviews on technical protection Support in the development of antenna and flash protection concepts Close cooperation with internal departments and external partners Monitoring the commissioning and testing of prototypes and radio systems

Successfully completed studies of electrical engineering, communications technology, high-frequency technology or a comparable field of expertise. First or multi-year experience in electromagnetic compatibility (EMV) or electromagnetic fields (EMF) Safe handling of common development and documentation tools (e.g. DOORS, MS Office) Knowledge of CST Studio Suite or MATLAB for simulation and analysis is desirable Basic understanding of system development according to V-model and experience with military or automotive standards Analytical thinking, structured functioning and solution-oriented action Communication strength and team capacity in cooperation with various departments and partners Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
