The Controlling department is responsible for the support of the clinics in the optimal planning and control of the available resources as well as for the preparation of decisions to fulfill the clinical targets. It plays a central role in the management of the University Hospital. The department produces relevant reports, is responsible for the control methods in hospital care, carries out the InEK case cost calculation, controls the planning process and reports regularly to the clinic lines, the management department and the clinic officer. It also produces reports to the Supervisory Board and the Ministry. The clinic controllers are responsible for an important interface between the clinics and the administrative management level of the university hospital.
