We are looking for the Office for Urban Planning and Housing of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay. Stuttgart Rosenstein is the most important city development project in the coming years. The planning department Rosenstein supervises, among others, approximately 85 ha of inner-city area, which is still occupied by railway gliders and is to be a sustainable model quarter in the future. As an experienced worker, you will develop challenging formal and informal planning in a dedicated team.

The field of activity comprises, in particular, the spectrum of mandatory construction planning, in particular: Own implementation of building plan procedures or the supervision of building plan procedures in external processing Coordinating advanced (partial) projects Preparing and implementing competitions and civic participation processes Technical instructions for other employees Participation in the discussion and representation of planning in the public bodies and the public Making statements on municipal and civil requests A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed university degree (Bachelor/FH) in the field of urban planning, architecture, spatial planning, geography, surveying or in a comparable field In-depth knowledge of building and planning law, in particular on binding construction planning, multiannual practical experience in the above-mentioned area of work are desirable A high degree of self-responsibility as well as collegiality and team capacity, as you work with employees from different professional groups Impressed communication skills and negotiation skills Very good skills in organization and coordination Confidence with MS Office programs and relevant standards and methods of urban planning
