In the ADAS sensor fusion and controller team, we process vehicle sensors, such as radar and camera systems as standard, as well as internal measurement variables, into a consistent environmental model with objects, lanes, etc. For this purpose, we develop robust estimation methods for determining the vehicle states and the environment, which also systematically take into account uncertainties. These observers form the basis for model-based longitudinal and transverse dynamics controls and enable precise and safe vehicle behavior in the commercial vehicle everyday. .
