The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. We are looking for unlimited duration at the next time a technical specialist (w/m/d) Paying group 12 TVöD (Bund) in the unit A.I.4 “Preclinical care” at the office of Bonn.

Equipment planning – You have a significant impact on the equipment planning of the Medical Task Force (MTF), including your expertise in the planning of the “Logistics” and “Dekon-V” modules. Medical self-help – you are driving the establishment of CBRN self-help kits. Procurement – You create performance descriptions for the procurement of specialised technical services on the basis of tactical requirements and medical and/or technical specifications and accompany ongoing procurement measures. Testing – You are planning and conducting practical tests for new and already purchased materials to ensure their suitability for use. Evaluations – You contribute to the regular review of the organisation of construction and execution and contribute to the optimization of organisational structures and processes. Conception of training – you are involved in training content and are involved in the preparation of recommendations for action.

You have successfully completed university studies (Bachelor/Diploma FH) in the field of engineering (e.g. rescue engineering, vehicle engineering, materials sciences or mechanical engineering) or have the career capability for the high-level technical service of the federal or state (e.g. firefighting services). You have already gained at least three years of practical experience corresponding to your higher education. In addition to your studies/ career training, you will have a medical or medical training (at least rescue assistant/rescue assistant). You have been actively involved in a national or international aid organisation for several years and have already acquired experience in use and/or practice. You have knowledge of the organisation of civil or civil protection units and of the prevention of risks (e.g. firefighters, aid organisation, THW), ideally with a focus on medical services, CBRN or operational logistics. You speak and write very well German and can communicate spontaneously and fluently in English (German C2/ English B2 according to GER). You are characterised by an independent and structured way of working and drive your projects independently. You contribute to a positive team climate through your valuable communication. Your team can also rely on your support and reliability in time-critical phases. With your service orientation, internal and external partners offer competent support and proactive assistance. Occasionally, usually well planned service trips are not a problem for you. Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organization.

If you are in an official's relationship, we will take you in a similar status by means of an arrangement with the aim of the assignment, if you have the career requirements for a federal service.
