This makes the job interesting for you: 50Hertz develops the Next Generation Control Center Ecosystem (Modular Control Center System) to meet the requirements for digitalization in the energy transition. Design this change with us and accompany us in the associated development of products that evaluate the network state in real-time and predictively. These products facilitate the working day of our operators and ensure that renewable energies can be fed into our network as much as possible while keeping the network stable. You are specifically working on products that use AI and ML algorithms to perform calculations and analyses that are not or are difficult to implement with the classic approaches and thus pave the way for the future of network analysis. Your tasks: You are responsible with your team for the further development and operation (You build it, you run it) of the software and the processes around your assigned product for the 50Hertz and the Elia system management, You are responsible for your backlog, creating user stories, voting with other teams and presentation in sprint reviews, You work closely with developers, architects, users and specialist experts as well as the other product teams of the Product Cluster, You understand yourself as a communication interface between developers and stakeholders, Your further tasks include: further development of the vision and roadmap for network calculation products, planning, driving and implementing Proof of Concepts, MVPs, and analysis of potential, technical solutions; creation, coordination and maintenance of roadmaps, release plans and the operational planning of the developed product, Interaction with external research partners/institutions to be always informed about the latest trends and developments.

Completed studies in electrical engineering, engineering, computer science, economic informatics, physics, detectable professional experience as a product owner or in a comparable role, Excellent knowledge in agile methods, especially Scrum and Scrum@Scale (ideally certificates), experience in the development of software for technical applications in the field of optimization and automation, energy management, network calculations/ and simulations or in the field of SCADA, experience in parameterizing and testing optimization solutions for non-linear problems that also include discrete decision variables, Wide experience with AI/ML algorithms, ideally for graph-based data structures, Basic understanding of network calculations such as load flow or optimal power flow, Analytical and strategic thinking and a high degree of self-employment and self-initiative, Ability to visualize and explain complex technical facts in a comprehensible manner, Entrepreneurship with creativity for new solutions or a solution-oriented product thinking, Team player*in who supports and motivates the other teams with their knowledge, High level of readiness and willingness to work on new topics, Languages: German and English (B2).
