Type of employment: Limited Working time: Full time Place of work: Renningen You develop an AI-based SoH concept that accurately evaluates the remaining service life of electronics and serves as the basis for sustainable product decisions. A product decision matrix, taking into account criteria such as cost-effectiveness and design, will be developed and implemented. The developed SoH concept is comprehensively evaluated by using suitable methods such as hybrid modeling and demonstrating its effectiveness. In addition, you apply your findings to a focus product and integrate inspection data from production (SPI, AOI, AXI), 0‐km waste data, reliability data and field loads. You independently analyze and evaluate basics and methods and perform targeted tests for identifying and evaluating fault images. In close cooperation with the AVT team, your supervisors at CR/APT3 and the cooperating university, you will promote knowledge transfer and interdisciplinary cooperation. On the basis of your research results, you will publish in lectured journals and present your results at international conferences to actively shape the scientific discourse.

Education: very good master's degree in microsystem technology, microelectronics or a comparable degree course Experiences and know-how: practical experience in data-based modeling (e.g. hybrid modelling, predictive maintenance / predictive maintenance, anomaly detection) Programming skills in Python and relevant libraries (e.g. PyTorch) Expertise in the area of reliability (lifetime, failure mechanisms, testing/testing) of electronics
