With more than 72,000 members, the North Rhine Medical Chamber is one of the largest medical bodies of self-administered health in Germany.

The task and objective of the North Rhine Medical Chamber is to contribute, in the fulfilment of its mission, to a quali­fied medical care of the population, as well as to the professional needs of the doctors. The Medical Association of North Rhine seeks for the Medical Basic Issues department at the next possible time – initially limited for two years – one Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

Establishment and legal organisation and implementation of the evaluation accreditation to examine the equivalence of medical degree degrees in third countries (outside the EU) Introducing an external expert team into the task of obtaining an expert opinion Continuous training of external assessors Review (Quality Assurance) of the issued opinion Knowledge data collection on the basis of the expert reports issued Regular exchange with the Central Recognition Centre for Health Care (ZAG), the Health Care Office (GfG) and the competent department of the Medical Chamber Westfalen-Lippe (ÄKWL) on the subject area Possibly isolated preparation of own reports Self-treatment of medical questions Representation of the Medical Chamber of North Rhine-Westphalia in bodies

Medical Approbation Minimum 2-year medical professional experience Ability to or experience with basic conceptual work and its implementation in practical measures and projects Professional experience in an association or an institution of self-governing Interest in health system issues and administrative activities Good communication and cooperation capability Teamability, flexibility, creativity and commitment Willingness to perceive occasional evening appointments
