In our heart surgery clinic - under the medical supervision of Univ.-Prof. Dr. MUDr. Tomas Holubec, Ph.D. - we offer you, as a assistant physician in further education, a structured and practical environment in which you can gradually approach complex heart surgery, take responsibility and continuously develop your expertise – integrated into an experienced, committed team.

Tasks:

• Preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of heart surgery patients
• Assistance in heart surgery (e.g. minimally invasive and conventional bypass operations/clip interventions/oral surgery)
• Implementation of defined operational substeps according to the level of training
• Participation in intensive care and intermediate care
• Participation in standby and call service
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with anaesthesia, cardiology, intensive medicine and care
• documentation, quality assurance and participation in morbidity and mortality conferences
• Participation in clinical studies and scientific projects

Requirements:

• Approbation as doctor / doctor
• Self-organized, conscientious and responsible operation
• Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (min. C1 level)
• High readiness and motivation for operational activity
• Interest in continuing training in the field of heart surgery
• Ready to participate in the service system
• Team spirit, commitment and strong social competence
