The Grenzach site is an important production site of BASF with chemical process plants, high automation depth and close interconnection between operation, engineering and maintenance. In the function of the Process Control Engineer, you will design and answer topics related to the process control and automation technology. In your new role, you bear the technical responsibility for the process control technology of selected production plants and ensure their reliable operation. You maintain and optimise automation and control technology in close coordination with operation and process management to increase plant performance and availability. In addition, you support trouble and root cause analyses and implement sustainable, implementable measures to eliminate errors. In addition, you perform software changes and optimizations according to Management of Change and document change processes comprehensible. In addition, you take over the PLT function in investment, conversion and optimization projects, accompany function tests to acceptance and work with external service providers and system suppliers.
