IT Expert / Security & Infrastructure (m/f/d)

You take over the administration and further development of our firewall systems, focusing on Fortinet technologies and Sophos firewall. Ideally, you have experience in the planning, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructures based on Ubiquiti UniFi, from switches and access points to controller management. You actively engage and optimise our firewall and network security environment and ensure a secure and performant IT operation by monitoring and analysis. You carry out security analyses and penetration and vulnerability tests, or accompany them and guide appropriate measures to improve IT security. You will create technical documentation, operating manuals and processes that sustainably support our IT operation. You actively participate in the standby service and thus contribute to the stability and safety of the ongoing operation.

You have a completed IT training (e.g. as a specialist in system integration) or a comparable qualification. You have well-founded experience in the operation of Fortinet Security Solutions (FortiGate, VPN, SD-WAN, Policies, Logging). You have practical knowledge in building and maintaining Ubiquiti UniFi networks, including controller management, VLANs and network segmentation. You have knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures (Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policies) as well as basic experience in Linux administration. Ideally, you have certifications in Fortinet NSE or Ubiquiti – or are motivated to acquire them with our support. You bring experience in user support and draw a high level of service orientation and initiative. You think analytically and technically, work structuredly and take responsibility. You're not afraid of standby services. You have good English skills in word and writing. You can control MS Office securely, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
