Team Leadership & Development: You lead a ten-member team and promote their professional and personal development Strategic communication: Together with the leadership team, You continuously develop BaFin's integrated communication strategy and advise BaFin's Board of Directors on all media and reputation issues Crisis Communication & Issues Management: You control communication in sensitive situations and secure the reputation of the authority Stakeholder Relations: You maintain relations with media, European supervisory authorities and political actors Digital transformation: You drive the development of digital communication channels and our social media presence further

You have completed a university degree (Master/University Diploma) with at least the grade “good” that allows access to the higher service You necessarily have at least ten years of professional experience in external corporate communication, of which at least five years in both press work and social media, ideally with financial reference You have conducted a team of at least three people in discipline for five or more years and understand how to motivate, promote and act as a model. You have passion for communication, a high level of creativity, strong text skills and fun in digital trends You convince colleagues and externals on the basis of your appraisal handling and your clear approach to the matter You have the digital skills to understand and classify new developments in a digital environment You can express themselves very well in writing and orally, i.e. convey and represent ideas and points of view in an address-oriented manner You have very good knowledge of English You fulfil the requirements of § 7 para. 1 Federal Staff Act / § 3 para. 1.1 TvöD-V, in particular, possess the nationality of a Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland and are prepared to enter into a democratic basic order. You agree with an extended safety review pursuant to § 9 SÜG Of advantage are: A journalistic training (Volontariat), traineeship or editorial experience Professional experience in crisis communication Professional experience in Issues Management Reliable network in the media industry Experience with agile working methods Knowledge of the financial sector We presume you are ready to do business trips.
