Project Manager School Construction (m/f/d)

Full project responsibility: You take over the complete project management of turnkey school building projects – from the new building to special measures to temporary buildings – and represent the interests of the builder Control & coordination: As project manager, you control all planning and construction processes, answer the project controlling (costs, dates, quality) and create regular reporting From the idea to the handover: You accompany school building projects from the requirement definition (phase zero) to commissioning and handover to the users – including preparation and execution of all transfer processes Tendering & Contracts: You develop public procurement procedures – from tendering to contract negotiations to content-technical contract design Concepts with vision: With your creativity you develop feasibility studies and project developments that actively shape the future of school building Secure quality & document services: You ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, check planning and construction services and conduct a structured project documentation Participation & committee work: You actively contribute to the project-related participation processes of the client (Stadt Essen) and support the management of the unit in the preparation of committee meetings

Qualification: You have completed your studies, for example in civil engineering, in architecture or a comparable qualification Experience in project management: You bring several years of professional experience in the control and implementation of construction projects – ideally in a leading role Legal & technical competence: You are familiar with the relevant regulations and standards such as HOAI and VOB and take into account aspects of sustainable construction Sovereign appearance: Persuasive with good ways of handling, enforcement strength and a safe, sympathetic appearance You have different contact points Communication & Result Strength: You work structured, solution-oriented and have pronounced communicative skills Digital routine: Safe handling of MS Office is part of everyday work for you Mobility: You have a class B licence
