HSE Coordinator (m/f/d)

We recycle car batteries with the aim of recovering lead to the production of new batteries. To strengthen our team with about 150 employees, we are looking for you as HSE coordinator (m/w/d) at the earliest possible date.

The position is located at our location Freiberg, Germany.

You support our security expertise and our HSE department in promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements in the field of occupational safety and health Advising executives and employees in occupational safety and health issues in coordination with safety professionals Cooperation with the working physician and the trade union including Organisation of medical examinations required for the employees in the plant Application, maintenance and development of the company-wide reporting system Implementation of HS-related training and instruction Working with the continuous improvement of the management system in occupational health and safety Identification and implementation of ways to improve safety and health in our departments together with the HSE team

A completed technical vocational training (continuation to master, safety skills, etc. is an advantage, but no condition) Including professional experience in the field of occupational safety and health in the industrial environment, ideally the chemical, metal or recycling industry Good knowledge of relevant legal regulations The ability to sensitize and inspire employees and executives for occupational safety issues Safe handling of office and data processing systems and good English skills
