FinOps Engineer (m/f/d)

In your role as FinOps Engineer (gn), you are our expert in the technical and data-driven implementation of FinOps principles. In addition, you analyze and model our cloud, Saas and Kubernetes costs and develop meaningful KPIs. To promote the cost and usage transparency, meaningful dashboards and reports from you are implemented and continually optimized. In order to identify optimization potentials such as rightsizing, reservations, storage or network, you analyze the technical deployments with your trained look. In close cooperation with Cloud Engineering, Finance and Management, you act as a savings partner for the various departments.

You have completed your studies in computer science or business - and you already have experience in FinOps and cloud cost management. Cloud Cost Models, FinOps Tools and Best Practices? Do not only theoretically, but practically in everyday life. Data and key figures are not an end for you - you prepare them so that You really say something. Tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Looker belong to the tool box for you. You feel comfortable in the public cloud. With Terraform, Python & Co. you can handle - or you have at least a solid foundation on which you want to build on. You think analytically, work exactly and have fun in penetrating complex cost models. At the same time, you can prepare results to be understood outside the tech world. English? No problem - you can express yourself safely, in writing as oral. FinOps certifications are nice to have - but no need.
