Cloud FinOps Analyst (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Cloud FinOps Analyst (m/w/d) for our team in the area of “IT Finance & Control” at the next possible time, which actively contributes to the sustainable use of the cloud infrastructure with us. In this role, you focus on cloud cost management, data analysis and automation to sustain the digital future. You have experience in cloud cost management, data analysis or in the FinOps environment? You transfer our current FinOps report to a modern platform to make cloud output control more transparent and efficient You make sure that the planning of quantities and costs has high quality and that budget compliance is guaranteed in the financial statements Through processes such as forecasts, annual financial statements and an intensive exchange with the developer teams, you control budget compliance You continuously identify cost-cutting potentials and implement measures for quantity and price optimization In close consultation with stakeholders such as IT Area Leads, Product Ownern and DevOps teams, you will prepare meaningful analyses (e.g. for system consumption) and guide specific action recommendations You participate in the strategic development of the FinOps team and initiate process optimization in the cloud sector You work with national and international colleagues: build a network within the AXA Group Operations and the international FinOps community

That's what you bring

You have a successfully completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics or a comparable qualification You bring at least three years of professional experience in FinOps, cloud cost management or data analysis You have experience with data analysis in the AWS environment, especially with cost data and CloudWatch You have knowledge of SQL, Python and cloud technologies, especially AWS, K8s and Azure You know yourself with analytic tools and data processing in the regulated environment (e.g. financial industry) A high communication skills as well as analytic & strategic thinking also characterize you You have very good communicative skills at all hierarchical levels, a high level of problem solving and like to work in the team Very good knowledge of German and English complete your profile
