What we plan together: Design the intralogistics of tomorrow: REWE Group invests in the automation of its logistics locations – from highly automated Greenfield projects to the further development of existing warehouses. The focus is on the successful implementation of automated intralogistics solutions across all project phases. As a team leader*in intralogistics IT and infrastructure, you lead a team of project leaders to ensure this implementation with a focus on WMS, IT-supported processes and adjacent IT structures. In addition, you will bring important infrastructure and IT security topics – so that our solutions are not only functionally convincing, but also safe, robust and long-term operability.

You can set up your office either in Cologne or in Neu-Isenburg.

What you do with us: With your team, you are responsible for the successful implementation of automated logistics locations across all phases of the project with a special focus on IT – from specification and tendering to implementation, testing, commissioning and running up to handover to stable operation.

You lead a team of project leaders professionally and disciplinaryly, give orientation in complex project phases and ensure an effective prioritization of the topics in the team.

You ensure that WMS requirements, interfaces, tests, decreases and change and release topics are planned, coordinated and implemented across the project.

You coordinate cooperation with companies, IT, security, purchasing, support teams and providers and ensure that decisions are prepared and consistently maintained.

You bring infrastructure and IT security aspects such as network topologies, firewalls, endpoint security, patch management, hosting models and SLAs/SLOs specifically into projects and operating concepts.

You develop standards, Lessons Learned and Best Practices for future automation projects and strengthen the viability of our logistics IT.

What convinces us: You have a good sense of leadership in project organisations, can give orientation, make decisions and motivate people in challenging phases.

You bring experience in the realization of complex automation, logistics IT or infrastructure projects and ideally know the requirements of large warehouse or commercial organisations.

Your basis is a technically oriented study or comparable training, for example in (economic) computer science, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, BWL or logistics.

You have collected at least five years of relevant professional experience in the WMS environment, in the logistics IT, in automated intralogistics or in adjacent IT/infrastructure topics.

You work in a structured, binding and solution-oriented manner, communicate with your address and keep track of parallel projects.

You are safe in dealing with internal and external stakeholders – from operational contacts to IT and security areas to provider and support organisations.

You have a good technical understanding of WMS, interfaces, IT operation as well as infrastructure and security topics, and you can assign this content to leadership and project levels.

A basic readiness to travel and very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing complete your profile.
