Your duties You support demanding high-tech projects in future markets such as data centers in Germany or neighbouring European countries in close cooperation with the project team. You ensure that our projects are handled in a safe working environment in accordance with the relevant project-specific HSE regulations, international standards and local jurisdiction. Together with the project team, you implement project-specific HSE policies and coordinate workplace and hazard assessments with our entrepreneurs. You carry out HSE instruction and training on the project and support the project team in the daily HSE negotiations together with our construction managers and after-contractors. Through regular visits and further work and health protection activities, you are positively contributing to ensuring that our construction sites are handled safely and that our HSE standard is continuously improved. In the case of “Near Misses” or accidents at work, analyze them together with the project team, develop accident prevention measures and share “Lessons Learnt” with our customers, the project team and after-contractors as well as within our HOCHTIEF organization. Your profile Relevant qualification: Completed study of civil engineering or comparable degree in the field of civil engineering or similar industry, as well as a recognised training on security (m/w/d). Experience in the field of occupational safety and occupational experience, preferably in the construction of data centers or similar technology-loaded “Mission Critical Facilities” in the international environment, is desirable. Knowledge/qualifications: You work well and safely with the MS Office products and have well-founded knowledge of German and European labour protection legislation, knowledge of the American OSHA standard and the will to acquire missing knowledge. Language skills: You have very good German and English skills that enable professional communication. Personal Skills: You are convinced by an independent way of working, high willingness to use and mobility with the willingness to participate in full-time projects in Germany and, if necessary, in neighbouring European countries.
