These are some of the ingredients key to the role: Process payroll for approximately 7000 (in total) employees in Germany.
Process all payments and deductions coloring and timely including salary, pension, tips and other salary premiums guarantee all employees are paid in accordance with the monthly payroll schedule
Reconcile all tax and social security deductions, ensuring You are filed and paid mass and on time.
Manage Long Term Sickness, Maternity/Adoption/Paternity join our CHR team and process leavers holiday balances.
Manage and analyse our payroll data to ensure accuracy and provide key information to other teams in the business (eg. Finance).
Check payroll reports have been processed successfully by our Payroll Provider for starters, leavers, permanent/variable changes, and absence.
Manage our People Portal (ticketing system) and respond to payroll queries timely and in a way that aligns with our values.
Review output reports from payroll provider, ensuring all instructions have been correctly interpreted and customized 100%.
Manage detailed payroll check lists and prepare for Manager review at submission, pre-approval, month end and quarter end stages.
Remain updated in payroll legislation and self develop through our Talent Development library.
What will you bring to the table? Several years pyroll experience in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Stakeholder Management: A proactive communicator who is approachable and direct. You excel at bridging gaps between departments and developing effective working relationships through clear, respectful, and open dialogue.
High degree of PC literacy with advanced Excel (Pivots and VLookups).
Experience with DATEV payroll engine.
High level of attention to detail with good analytical and numeracy skills.
Detail-Oriented Data Management: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and resolve complex discrepancies through meticulous data review and numerical rigor.
Fluent German & English language skills
