price and contract negotiations and conclusion of framework agreements with national and international suppliers; if applicable with global validity for the Hummel Group Market analyses and benchmarking for the continuous optimization of the Hummel Group supply chain in terms of quality, cost and availability Analysis of purchasing data and processes to derive strategic projects within the Hummel Group, reduce costs and increase efficiency Implementation of occasional international business trips to strengthen global partnerships/business relations and support of local purchasing organisations in the Hummel Group companies (current travel activities about 10%) Accompanying company-wide introduction and rollout projects in the area of PRO in cooperation with internal and external departments Ensuring material compliance, including compliance with Reach and RoHS, conflict minerals, supply chain regulatory requirements and other relevant requirements in the Hummel Group Global Head of PRO representation in global issues; with interface to Global Operations Management, Global R&D and FNA

You have successfully completed your studies as an industrial engineer and relevant professional experience in global strategic purchasing with relevant knowledge in international markets/suppliers and technologies. Further special skills Knowledge in purchasing tool-bound components Knowledge of purchasing processes Good MS Office knowledge Experience in handling ERP systems At least 2 years of experience in comparable position English (C2) English (B2 or better) driving licence class B Required experience Purchasing of services (removal assembly/removal) Personally you convince us with Communication skills Negotiations Team skills Problem solving skills Analytical skills Flexibility and empathy
