Then work student* will become a member of the Social Media Team of the Communication Department of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD). Workplace is Hanover. The EKD coordinates the cooperation of the 20 national churches which are united in it and represents the interests of the Protestant Church in state and society. The Communication Unit bundles the external communication of the EKD, from press work, publishing and web to campaigns and social media. In the social media team we tell ecclesiastical topics in a comprehensible, up-to-date and approachable way for different platforms and target groups.

support the social media team in the planning, creation and publication of content – from Insta to LinkedIn develop creative ideas in words and images and implement great content research current trends, topics and formats and think on for our channels work with campaigns and communication projects and bring your own ideas support the team in all organizational processes

You are a student in the Bachelor or Master in Communications/Media Science, Communication Design, Journalism, Theology or a related subject You are at home in social media and have fun creating content ideally, you already have first practical experiences in social media communication You are familiar with the digital trends and logics of social networks and have a sense of good content, trends, language and formats You have basic skills in handling image and video editing programs (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Adobe Premiere Pro etc.) You have pleasure and are curious about the Protestant Church
