Group Leader Student Financing (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the professional and organizational management of a group of about four specialist workers at our Jena or Erfurt site and ensure a uniform legal interpretation of the BAföG and its secondary laws and in this group make the basic decisions on requests for services under the BAföG. In addition, your tasks include: Processing and decision of difficult cases and questions Advising students and their parents in cases of difficult situation and/or legal situation Examination of application processing and support of specialists

We would like to win you in particular as an employee for our research department if you: have completed administrative or legal studies (LL.B., 1st State Examen, B. A. with a focus on economic law or public administration...) or have successfully completed a relevant vocational training (e.g. as an administrative specialist, tax specialist, etc.), were able to gain first experience in managing employees, willing to work with people, provide a high level of consulting skills, a friendly appearance and very good communication skills, and are safe in dealing with complex legal issues.
