Senior Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

You design and answer end-to-end test strategies across all levels – unit, integration, system, UI, stress and performance tests – for our medical software products. You build and develop Test Harnesses and CI pipelines that detect regressions early, run stable and scalable and deliver fast, reliable feedback to our C++ desktop, .NET and modern web stacks. You plan, implement and analyze load and performance tests, identify bottlenecks and stability risks and advance measurable quality improvements together with the developer teams. You work closely with development, architecture and product management, act as a quality knowledge of the team and anchor test driven ''Shift-Left'' engineering practices. You use AI agents and tools such as Claude Code to generate, maintain and triate tests, and build reusable automation skills and workflows for the entire QA community.

Multiannual experience in test automation on senior levels with a deep understanding of multi-layered test frameworks as well as proven practice in load and performance tests, ideally in regulated or safety-critical environments. Excellent degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or comparable technical studies with very good grades. Very good programming knowledge in at least one language such as C#, Java, Python or TypeScript; Practice with modern test tools (e.g. Ranorex, Playwright, Cypress), version management and CI/CD (e.g. GitLab CI), ISTQB or equivalent certifications is a plus. Detectionally effective use of AI in QA workflows; ideally experience with Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools (agents, skills, workflows) as well as AI pipelines, test harnesses and context engineering. German and fluent English in word and writing, strong problem-solving capability, innovation joy, pronounced proactivity, entrepreneurial mindset and high quality standards in the sense of a modern, patient-oriented healthcare IT.
