Head of Operations Financial Markets (m/f/d)

In our Operations Financial Markets division, all transactions of the Pension Bank are made up of money and capital market activities and all EUR and foreign currency payments. The Pensions Bank is refining itself as a state funding institution with a banking licence on the national and international money and capital markets in all common currencies. We use various emission programmes with framework documentation as well as refinancing based on individual contracts. We exclude derivatives transactions exclusively as collateral instruments on the OTC market or on regulated electronic trading platforms with financial institutions based on market-based collateral arrangements (CSA/BSA). The acquisition of bank bonds and other debt instruments serves to meet regulatory requirements and strengthens the interest surplus of the pension bank. As a department manager, you control and manage the strategic development of the unit and ensure that regulatory requirements, efficiency and risk orientation are consistent at any time. In this function you report directly to our Risk Board and are a member of the Bank's top management group. Your tasks: You are responsible for the transaction management of money and capital markets, as well as EUR and foreign currency payment transactions You are responsible for the creation of bond terms, takeover contracts, global certificates and emission and payment contracts As an entrepreneurial leader, you shape the further development of the back office processes in the context of increasing automation and digitalization and take over tasks at the overall bank level, e.g. B. in connection with the business strategy You ensure the superior compliance with supervisory requirements (e.g. MaRisk, EMIR, SFTR, GWG, AWV) in your area of responsibility As a leader and team player, you will lead professionally and disciplinaryly direct and indirect employees

You have a degree in economics, business informatics or a comparable qualification relevant to the position You bring multi-year leadership experience with budget responsibility, ideally in the back office of a credit institution with capital market reference You have a well-founded knowledge of trading and interbank payment transactions You know the relevant regulatory and regulatory requirements You can safely and purposefully use your well-stocked method case and at the same time rely on a high process understanding. You think analytically end-to-end over processes and interfaces and trade strategically sovereign As a manager, you understand how to take employees and executives across all hierarchy levels.
