This is what we offer: Construction Engineer / Welder (m/w/d)

• Welding of naval structures and technical products, e.g. plant parts, doors/Lukens, holders, foundations – both on board and prefabricated
• Assembly, stapling and welding of constructions according to drawings
• Preparation of workpieces and components based on work documents
• Control of weld preparation
• Compliance with all valid work, safety and welding instructions
• Implementation of fault diagnosis
• Independent quality control and inspection of welds
• After-treatment of welds (e.g. grinding and plastering)
• Ensuring compliance with quality and deadlines

You have this in your baggage

• You have a successfully completed training for welding or several years of professional experience in welding
• Knowledge of various welding processes (e.g. WIG, MIG, MAG, E - Hand)
• Experience in reading technical drawings and instructions
• Safe handling of welding devices and tools
• A good fine motor
• High precision and carelessness at work
• Reliability, teamability, punctuality and loadability
• Knowledge in handling various metals and materials
• Knowledge of shipbuilding standards and qualifications for crane operation would be advantageous
