As part of your internship, you will be given the opportunity to apply and deepen knowledge acquired in theory about project, production management and experience with AI and data analysis in practice. The tasks of the Production Supply team at the Bremen site include the control of the material flow to and within the assembly hall and its optimization. Applications in the internship will in particular be the system support in which know-how in software such as SAP and Access databases can be built, as well as an innovation working group in which AI and technical innovation can be involved in the latest developments in the Mercedes-Benz logistics. These challenges include: Support in the analysis and optimization of existing delivery processes and independent support of subprojects in the field of data analysis

Independent processing of subprojects in the field of qualification and occupational safety and the creation of appropriate training contents (presentations, videos, handouts, etc.)

Participation in the design, documentation and introduction of logistics innovations

Prototype development of apps and systems to optimize production

Visualization and presentation of work results and maintenance of management reports

Implementation of the developed concepts with local production

The activity can begin from October 2026 (with the exception of the operating periods).

Degree course Economic engineering, mechatronics, computer science, data analytics, as much as possible with a focus on logistics or comparable study
