Walter Maschinenbau GmbH, headquartered in Tübingen, produces CNC machines for grinding and eroding as well as for laser machining of metal, woodworking and PKD tools as well as rotationally symmetrical production parts. Our production program is complemented by the production of optical CNC measuring machines for the contactless complete measurement of complex precision tools and rotationally symmetrical parts with logged accuracy in one clamping. Our know-how flows into the development of our own software. Comprehensive service offers from our customer care team complete our offer. Together with EWAG, we are system and solution providers for tool processing and form a common technology group within UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS. OUR TEAMS SUBMISSION SERVICE TECHNICAL (M/W/D)

You can use exciting services for WALTER and EWAG machines, mainly with our customers throughout Europe. You carry out repairs, inspections and repair work on our Walter and Ewag machines. You take mechanical and electrical maintenance, make fault diagnostics and keeps them updated independently. You pass on your knowledge and carry out service training directly with our customers on site. You support our customers with technical advice, also by phone. You document your service tasks reliably and clearly.

You have a completed technical training – ideally as a mechatronic, mechanic or electronic. You ideally have several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, for example in service, assembly or maintenance – also available on CNC-controlled machine grinding machines. You have good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Your mode of operation is independent, structured and reliable, and you can do a lot of work. You bring good knowledge of German in word and writing; English skills are of advantage. You are flexible, you like to travel (readiness to travel 80%, also Europe-wide is required) and perform customer-oriented as well as communicative.
