Risk Controller IRBA – Entry into Data Analysis, Models and Regulations (m/f/d)

You support a long-term project to introduce the IRBA (internal rating-based approach) for primary banks of the cooperative finance group – ideally as an entry into your professional life. You mainly take on operational activities and gradually grow into conceptual responsibility. You perform data analyses, for example with SQL, Python or R, create evaluations and prepare them for internal and external stakeholders. You work on creating and developing concepts with (e.g., rating/PD/LGD/CCF models, data requirements or process specifications) and get to know our IRBA methodology. Depending on the interest and profile you support in one or more of the following areas:Validation of risk models Model development (in particular PD, LGD) Data analysis and data processing Process requirements for banks

You work closely with experienced colleagues and project banks and support data quality measures. You follow changes to the regulatory framework and support the derivation and documentation of necessary measures. You prepare presentations and decision-making documents and present your results in the team and in relation to stakeholders – especially the project institutes.

an academic degree in the field of economics, mathematics, natural sciences, statistics or comparable – even at the beginning of your professional life German knowledge (at least C1 level) in word and writing Interest in topics such as risk controlling, banking supervision and IRBA as well as willingness to work on regulatory principles (CRR, EBA guidelines on PD/LGD) Joy of data work and analysis as well as visualizing and documenting results in a comprehensible manner first knowledge of SQL and a (statistic) programming language (e.g. R, Python); You don't have to be able to do anything yet, but want to develop clearly ideally, first practical experience (practice, work students' activity or the like) in banking environment, risk controlling, data analysis or advice – no need, but a plus high readiness, reliability and the desire to take more responsibility step by step
