The School of Computation, Information and Technology (CIT) of the Technical University of Munich operates its own IT service provider with the IT Operations (ITO). The ITO Asset Lifecycle Management Team is responsible for the entire life cycle of hardware, software licenses, support contracts, cloud services and mobile services for the operating and providing units of the School of CIT of the Technical University of Munich. We are looking for our team now, in full time or part time (at least 80%), one/n IT Asset Manager/-in (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) (CIT2026-26)

Total responsibility for the planning, control and continuous development of asset lifecycle management. Responsibility for demand-oriented, economic and budgetary/legal procurement. Planning and control of budgets, cost centers and investments including ability to identify Development and establishment of key figures, reporting and decision bases for management. Identification and implementation of optimization and automation potentials along the entire asset life cycle. Communication and cooperation with internal departments, central university services and external suppliers and service providers. Advising organizational units in matters of asset management.

Completed university or university studies (FH, Bachelor or Master). Proactive, independent and responsible operation in the implementation and supervision of digital systems. Structured, methodical operation and pronounced communication and organizational capacity. Knowledge of procurement law, in particular the regulations applicable to contracting authorities (UVgO, GWB and VgV), are desirable. Professional experience in this area is of advantage. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
