Head of Group Accounting & Tax (m/f/d)

You assume the overall responsibility for the group accounting, accounting and tax sectors within the holding with a total of five employees. In this role, you control the further development of group-wide accounting, accounting and accounting standards and ensure uniform governance within the group of companies. You develop tax design and optimization approaches at group and company level and accompany their implementation together with internal and external contacts. In addition, you will accompany restructurings, acquisitions and integration projects from an accounting and tax perspective. You define the group-wide accounting and accounting standards as a binding technical framework for the central accounting organisation (approximately 45 employees). You will also contribute to the further development of the Group Controlling and contribute your expertise in value-oriented control indicators, financing issues and the preparation of bank and committee documents. You coordinate cooperation with auditors, tax advisors and other external partners and act as a central Sparring partner for internal stakeholders.

You have completed business studies with a focus on accounting, finance or taxes. In addition, you will bring well-founded experience in group accounting according to HGB as well as in dealing with complex corporate and equity structures. You have already been able to take responsibility in auditing, tax or corporate advice or within a larger group of companies and have managed challenging projects independently. You also have a good understanding of tax issues in the group environment and can identify and implement optimization potentials in a structured manner. Ideally, you have filed a tax advisor and/or auditor exam and have experience in the monitoring of M&A transactions or restructuring. You are characterized by a sovereign appearance, natural authority and pronounced communication strength in dealing with managements, consultants, banks and auditors. In addition, you work analytically, structured and pragmatically and understand how to combine professional standards with the requirements of a medium-sized business environment.
