The activity of a water farmer/water farmer involves the entertainment, maintenance, inspection and repair of waterways, in particular Establishing, securing and rooms of construction sites in and on water Handling tools, operating devices and machines Implementation of waterborne measurements Manufacture, control and maintenance of structures in and on waters marking and securing of the driving channel and the driving water

Training allowance (currently: 1. year 1.368.26 €, 2 year 1.418.20 €, 3 year 1.464.02 €) Apprenticeship allowance of 50 €/year when visiting the vocational school Allowance for assets of € 13.29/month Special payment Premium of €400 for the first final examination 30 days holiday in the year 39 hours/week Overseas training at the Koblenz Vocational Training Centre and Implementation of a coastal project Special notes: The training lasts 3 years. In the event of a corresponding result in the interim examination, a pre-primary examination may be requested, so that the period of training is reduced to 2 1⁄2 years. The vocational training course takes place at the Carl Benz School, BBS Technik, in Koblenz. During the visit of the vocational school, free accommodation and meals are provided at the vocational training centre Koblenz. Applications for women are expressly requested. For the same qualification, women are preferably taken into account in accordance with § 8 BGleiG. Disabled people are preferably set with the same professional suitability.
