Head of Finance (m/w/d)

The body is indefinite and in part-time (80%) or full-time.

As Head of Finance, you take over the overall responsibility for the financial sector of our non-profit faculty and actively shape it for an ambitious growth and transformation phase. Together with your team leaders, you will lead and develop the areas of accounting, third-party controlling and central controlling.

In doing so, you combine excellence in finance and accounting with a modern, service-oriented understanding of finance.

Strategic governance

Total responsibility for financial and accounting, controlling and third-party management Responsibility for monthly and annual accounts according to HGB Responsibility for economic, multiannual and investment planning and forecasts Preparation and content support of board meetings with the shareholder Responsibility for management reports, KPIs and financial analyses

Consulting & interface work

Advising Management, Professor:innen und Program Manager:innen zu financial, tax and non-profit issues Central Accountant for Accountants:Inside, Tax Advisors:Inside

Leadership & team development

Complete university studies At least 8 years of professional experience in the financial/controlling environment, of which several years in senior function Experience in the financial statements according to HGB Knowledge of commercial, tax or non-profit law Experience in handling modern financial and ERP systems, especially S/4HANA and AI-based tools Clear, binding and value-assuring leadership style with pronounced communication and enforcement capability Strategic thinking, combined with hands-on mentality and high consulting skills Very good oral and written English language skills
