Tasks Strategic & operational responsibility Implementation of operational daily, weekly and monthly plans as well as deriving strategic location targets. Ensuring a smooth warehouse operation with focus on quality, cost, security and service. Responsibility for performance indicators (KPIs), inventory accuracy, inventory protection and process quality. Team management & personnel management Construction, leadership and further development of a powerful, motivated team of approx. 150 employees Implementation of daily management and status meetings. Regular personnel needs planning as well as annual employee discussions and coaching. Process optimization & problem solution Identification of process gaps and development of continuous improvement measures. Use of standard work instructions for efficient problem solving. Analysis of operational trends and derivation of recommendations for action. Budget & Cost Management Monitoring department budgets and support for annual budget planning. control and optimization of direct and indirect logistics costs; Coordination with management and external logistics service providers. Communication & Reporting Preparation and presentation of daily, weekly and monthly performance reports. Close cooperation with our customers, distribution centers, supply chain teams and carriers to solve incoming/outgoing shipment problems. Security management Support and development of occupational safety programmes to avoid accidents. Ensuring compliance with law

Your profile Complete studies in logistics, business management or comparable qualifications. At least 10 years of experience in logistics, including at least 3 years of warehouse or site management. Expertise in KPI management and inventory management, accuracy and consistency. Experience in cooperation with distribution centers, supply chain teams and freight forwarders. Ability to prioritize and speed up urgent requests. Very good communication skills in word and writing, both in German and English. Safe handling of IT systems, including storage or supply chain software. Fair and clear leadership style.
