For our International Service, we are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial-minded management personality as part of the succession scheme, which leads the Global Documentation & Knowledge Management team and ensures worldwide that end customers, sales and service can access current, understandable and practical knowledge at any time.

The technical and disciplinary leadership of the Global Documentation & Knowledge Management team is responsible for promoting the professional and personal development of your employees. With your team, you will ensure that Sales & Service are equipped with state-of-the-art knowledge at any time – from digital knowledge platforms to mobile device solutions to AI-based assistance systems The development and implementation of a forward-looking documentation and knowledge management strategy that constantly improves the service experience for our customers is your special focus. Your main tasks include the selection, control and development of tools, systems and external service providers in the field of content management and technical editorial. You take responsibility for the standard-compliant, high-quality production and maintenance of all technical documentation such as operating instructions, service documents and spare parts catalogue. This ensures the up-to-date, comprehensibility and multilingualism of documentation for our international markets. You report directly to the Director Service & After Sales International.

You can demonstrate a completed technical or engineering degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, technical editorial staff) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. Multiannual experience in technical documentation, ideally complemented by sound knowledge from service, customer service or product development in the industrial environment makes you a sought-after contact person. First leadership experience as well as the ability to develop teams and lead through change processes bring you with. Extensive interest and experience in the handling of modern knowledge management and editorial systems (Digital Knowledge Platforms, AI-based tools) awards you. You have knowledge of relevant standards and legal requirements for technical documentation (e.g. machine regulation, IEC/ISO standards). We require very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, and we see other foreign languages as an advantage.
