Design Engineer (m/w/d)

Are you an engineer or master / technician and have experience in the fields of construction, EOL (end of life) components or change management? As a designer (m/w/d), you are responsible for the materials and products as part of the series introduction and product care. Would you like to be part of the Industrial Engineering Team? Then you will be designer / change engineer (m/w/d) at our client. We work as an exclusive partner of Miltenyi Biotec B.V. & Co. KG at the site in Bielefeld, an internationally established, successful biotechnology and biomedicine company that has made the fight against cancer the goal. The position must be taken as part of a direct recruitment at the next possible time in the course of business growth.

Product Care and Design Control: Responsible cooperation in the product care of components, assemblies and instruments in the field of biomedical technology to maintain the DesignControl status.

Design and solution development: development and design of mechanical, optical, fluidic and thermal systems taking into account process engineering aspects.

Product Responsibility: Takeover of material and product responsibility during series production as well as ongoing product care and construction.

Prototypes and series equipment: performing design changes on instruments with mechanical, optical, fluidic and thermal tasks.

Optimization of manufacturing processes: Improvement of manufacturing processes (e.g. mounting, gluing, welding) and construction of operating devices for the production of components and assemblies.

Documentation and standards: production and maintenance of production and technical documentation (2D/3D drawings, piece lists, specifications) as well as cooperation in the introduction of design concepts and process forecasts.

Required: Successfully completed engineering studies or master/technics as well as relevant and relevant professional experience.

Technical knowledge: Ideally, you will bring well-founded knowledge into technical standards such as DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 13485 as well as in materials and process engineering, ESD and manufacturing technology.

Analytical skills: Structured working methods with pronounced analytical skills and problem-solving competence.

Communication capability: Strong communication skills, enforcement ability and negotiation skills.

Teamability: High loadability and team orientation in an interdisciplinary environment.

IT knowledge: Routinized handling of CAD systems (SolidEdge), MS Office. Experiences in PRO.FILE, Polarion, SAP, JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint or MARMIND are of advantage.
