You make sure that our server and virtualization environment (e.g. VMware) is stable and reliable. You take care of updates and patches for servers and clients and keep our systems on a secure stand. You monitor our backup solutions and make sure that data can be recovered with regular restore tests. You use monitoring tools, detect disturbances early and deal with problems structured on the ground. You manage users and permissions and keep systems, changes and processes properly documented.

You bring experience in system operation and you know well with Windows servers as well as virtualization (e.g. VMware). You have a solid basic understanding of networks (Firewall, VLAN, Routing) and backup concepts. Ideally, you have already worked with M365/Azure AD, monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG) or IT security measures. You work structured, carefully and have fun building stable and sustainable solutions instead of short-term craft solutions. You are a reliable team player and think in stable, thoughtful solutions instead of short-term “bastel solutions”.
