Your Profile You have: An excellent Master's degree in a scientific or technical discipline search as physics, technical optics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field; a PhD would be at advantage In-depth knowledge of optical metrology, particularly interferometric or spectroscopic measurement methods A deep understanding of measurement algorithm development, calibration methods, error budgets, analysis and data processing Practical experience in working with optical setups and their alignment Strong programming skills, preferably in Python Excellent teamwork skills, a confident and professional manner and strong communication skills Experience in project work would be an advantage A high level of self-motivation and commitment, combined with a strong interest in thinking beyond established approaches and driving topics forward
