Riding Therapist (m/f/d)

ID: REF393M Vitos Herborn, together with Vitos Weil-Lahn, forms a regional network under the umbrella of the Vitos Group. Our core task is to treat adults, children and adolescents in psychiatric, psychosomatic and somatic clinics. Our accompanying psychiatric services serve people with chronic mental illnesses. We offer a station-based riding therapy for adults in our clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy at the Herborn site. To strengthen our team in the therapy center of the Vitos Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in the field of riding therapy, we are looking for you, first for a temporary position in parental leave, at the next time for our location in Herborn in part time.

Planning and implementation of animal-assisted measures of our patients in the stationary setting. Application and further development of scientifically sound animal-based concepts. You are part of a multidisciplinary team and accompany our patients in animal-based treatment. Your expertise complements the overall treatment offer and offers a highly individualized treatment offer for our patients. Daily care for the therapy animal and the equipment as well as planning the care in holiday and absence periods. Takeover of daily correspondence with other animal-related services.

You have completed therapeutic training and a recognised therapeutic qualification as well as a good elite qualification (min. A level). You already have relevant professional experience in therapeutic work with adults. You care about an esteeming and empathic approach and work patient-oriented. Your ability to make informed decisions on your own, commitment, flexibility, team capacity and reliability are more brand names that you support our team.
