Your tasks: You make the difference with us.

• In your role, you are responsible for expanding ML capabilities in strategic business areas such as non-food business and logistics.
• In addition, you take over the end-to-end management for ML projects on our Google Cloud platform - from the requirement analysis to conception and proof-of-concept to production maturity .
• You act independently as project management with responsibility for budget and resources, in close cooperation with specialist departments and external partners.
• You develop scalable data models and ML pipelines with dbt, Airflow and Vertex AI - from the data analysis of large datasets through feasibility analyses to the automated CI/CD deployment pipeline . Use our modern technology stack with GitLab, Infrastructure as Code and self-developed ML software products.
• In addition, you support the data literacy of our stakeholders, transfer potentials and boundaries of KI/ML in the company context and accompany the successful introduction of new ML services through change management.

Your profile: You always reinvent us.

• You have a degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science or a comparable field of expertise.
• You bring proven expertise in Data Science/Machine Learning with a focus on productionalisation for several years (at least 3-5 years).
• Finding Google Cloud Platform Experience as well as software development expertise in Python, SQL and ML-Frameworks characterize you.
• In addition, you have already experienced the complete implementation of ML projects in existing corporate systems, including MLOps, deployment and monitoring.
• Your ability to turn prototypes into scalable production systems, combined with your expertise in the development of business cases as well as the analysis and evaluation of the return on investment for ML initiatives, will distinguish you.
• Professional knowledge of German and English complete your profile.
