Controller – Project Management & Finance (m/f/d)

You cover projects over the entire life cycle – from costing and supply creation to approval or assignment and execution up to the final proof and final settlement. In doing so, you continuously analyze and monitor the project costs and make sure that both the financial framework and the requirements of the funding providers are complied with. You work closely with the professional project managers and advise both the management level and the project management in financial matters as well as in matters of efficient use of funds. In addition, you develop controlling instruments and introduce them to optimize budget management and resource planning at both the institute level and within the funding projects.

Education: A completed study (BWL, administrative sciences, natural sciences) or a commercial training with further education in controlling. Experience: You have experience in financial or project controlling, ideally in an environment with public funding (Bund, Country, EU). Know-how: You are safe in handling Excel and do not have any barbarity in new software tools. Language: Since our team is international, you will certainly communicate in German and English. Personality: You are structured, pay-affin and can communicate financial issues to non-financial corporations.
