Number: MER0003YVI We develop the electric drive trains of the next Mercedes-Benz vehicle generations. In our interdisciplinary team, you work on topics such as thermal management, development and serial support of modern e-drives and get real insights into the future of mobility. Exciting technical challenges in which you introduce your ideas

Insights into the work of development engineers, from the concept phase to the real vehicle

Practice: You get to know all areas of electric drive development – including software, test operation and prototypes

Your tasks include: Working in the series development of our electric drives, e.g. in rebuilds, experimental setups and the technical coordination of various components

Analysis and creative problem solving in series operation – for example in troubleshooting to customer vehicles, always together with experienced engineers

Support of the series support team in the operational day-to-day business and in current technical issues

Technical Deep Dive in modern topics of e-drive development, including insights into prototypes and continuous vehicles

Monitoring and analysis of measurements with test and continuous running vehicles, including evaluation of the measurement data

Development and verification of derating functions on the vehicle in close cooperation with the departments

Opportunity to take over own subprojects, take responsibility and implement your ideas in practice

Development of own AI solutions to make our working day more efficient

Planning, organisation and implementation of own test bench tests for the validation of concept ideas - including preparation, evaluation and outcome presentation

The activity can begin from April 2026.

Degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS Office, Excel evaluations, creating graphics

Own-responsible and structured working, teamwork, high motivation and self-control

driving licence class B desirable
