In the Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future! Innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. In the RD/EAX “PLE e-Drive Compact & Mid-Size & Technology” department, we are responsible for the technical project management in the development car for our future e-drive trains in the MMA and MB.EA-M project from concept to series. We coordinate all development activities and represent the interface to the series and specialist areas. We integrate the technical design and timing of the development of the e-Drive system with focus on the needs of our customers. In the e-Drive vehicle/hardware management & validation team, we are the integrated interface for e-Drive hardware control and vehicle management as well as operating workshop control for e-Drive vehicles. We validate the e-Drive as a whole system. These challenges include: Working with the prototype vehicle and partial setup planning in the respective hardware phases Participation in part control for test stands and vehicles Participation in vehicle management Participation in workshop coordination Participation in validation topics Participation in process topics in the department Participation in the creation of various evaluation tools Participation in coordination with participating areas (including experimental and specialist areas) Monitoring the preparation, implementation and follow-up of meetings or meetings Committees Creation and coordination of documents / documentation for management and project management (e.g. reports, protocols) Editing various special projects The activity can start from January 2026.

Course in Economic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Similar Degrees Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Vehicle affinity Enthusiasm for pioneering alternative drives around the BEV theme field driving licence class B Basic knowledge of the vehicle development process desirable, documentation bases and basics Commitment, team skills, analytical thinking, strategic working Further programming skills desirable Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
