Conference & Service Staff Events (m/f/d)

As a meeting & service staff event, you will be in the Zeppelin Lake where events are prepared, accompanied and prepared: at conferences, seminars, workshops, banquet events, weddings, private celebrations, receptions and catering. You make sure that rooms are prepared in time and appropriate. These include seating, tables, conference technology, flipcharts, pin walls, glasses, drinks, coffee breaks, materials, service stations, signs and a clean, inviting overall impression. Before you start, you will check if everything is complete, neat and ready to use. During conferences and events, you are attentively present in the process. You will meet guests and organizers, accompany breaks, fill up drinks and materials, respond to change requests and tune with kitchen, service, reception, housekeeping and home technology. For weddings, private celebrations, banquets and receptions, you can support in the service, drinks, serving, cleansing, blanketing and all the tasks that are important for a quiet, professional run. You will not only keep your station in sight, but also the overall impression of the event. For catering and special formats, you help with preparation, construction, transport, installation of service stations, output, service and refurbishment. Be sure that food, drinks, glasses, dishes, cutlery and materials are in the right place at the right time. After events, you will take care of the degradation, order, sorting of materials, control of the rooms and preparation for the next day of the event. You realize what is missing, what can be improved and where voting is necessary. In short, you are an important interface between conference, event, banquet, catering, kitchen, service, reception and home technology – with the aim that our guests feel well accompanied and that every format works quiet, clean and reliable.

Ideally you have experience in the event service, banquet, meeting area, catering, restaurant service or hotel industry. A training in hotel industry, gastronomy or event is welcome, but not absolutely necessary if you bring practical experience, host feeling and organizational talent. It is important to us that you work reliably, attentively and structured. You have a good feeling for preparation, order, cleanliness, service processes and details. You can see if a room is really ready – functional, clean and atmospheric. You are happy to work with guests and teams, stay calm even with short-term changes and can communicate friendly, clear and solution-oriented. Physical packing is of course yours: putting spaces, carrying materials, preparing, building and preparing stations. You should be happy to accompany different formats – sometimes a concentrated conference, a wedding, a reception, a catering, a private celebration. This is exactly what makes the position. Good knowledge of German is important and English is helpful. Experience with meeting technology, service processes, event setup, banquet service or catering is a plus. Reliable basics In principle, we award permanent employment contracts. Exceptions are training contracts and explicit seasonal contracts. Your working hours are accurately recorded – through transparent working time accounts and a simple schedule app. Tariff holiday and Christmas money are of course. Tax-free allowances for night, Sunday and holiday work are paid in advance – as far as your working time is allowed. Our remuneration is clearly above tariff. You will receive two additional days per year, on top to the tariff scheme. For proven voluntary commitment there is another holiday day. With special family loads, we look individually how we can support with additional holiday or flexibility. Time, Food and Extras You eat and drink almost free of charge – fresh food, fair traded organic coffee, tea, juices and small items from our kitchen. We bear the costs; only the statutory flat-rate tax on the monetary advantage is to be taxed by you. When you first hire with us, you will receive a premium of gross 1000 euros (500 euros after six months, 500 euros after one year of service). If you return to us after a break, we will count on your previous service to the new activity. For your family, relatives and close friends there are generous conditions when You eat or stay with us. You can temporarily stay in Hotel Maier up to the accommodation, depending on availability – at minimum costs. We support you financially in the care of infants. The exact configuration is part of your individual contract configuration. Modern means of communication and back office workstations are available in all departments.
