The Rhein-Sieg-Kreis is looking for a number of youth aid centres for Eitorf and Windeck at the next possible time

Social workers, social pedagogues or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) for Social Work (w/m/d)

with various periods of grace (14.05.2027 and 31.08.2027) for the District Social Service (General Social Service) in full or part-time. The office is located in Eitorf.

The Rhein-Sieg-Kreis (almost 600,000 inhabitants) is one of the largest circles in the Federal Republic of Germany. The county office is the district town of Siegburg.

Your tasks

The tasks result from the task spectrum of the Social Code (SGB VIII). The focus is on:

• general advice from parents and other guardians
• Advice on the promotion of children and young people and the use of educational aid
• Participation in family court proceedings
• Cooperation with the appropriate courts
• Treatment, introduction and support of educational aids
• Perception of the protection contract for child welfare threats
• Integration aid
• Youth assistance in criminal proceedings
• Network and social space work
• Cooperation with the administrative staff

Some of the tasks mentioned are performed in specialisation.

Your profile

• completed university studies in one of the above mentioned fields
• sound knowledge of the essential aspects of SGB VIII
• safe occurrence, security in conversation management, resilience and negotiation skills, willingness to cooperate and a high level of empathy
• would be desirable knowledge or Experience in administrative processes
• Owner of a passenger car license
