Head of Project Management (m/w/d) Plant Engineering

Our client is a niche player and world market leader recognized in plant engineering in his sector with an impressive history. The innovative family company based in Rheinhessen, Rhineland-Palatinate, manufactures and sells customized and high-quality technical solutions for its customers all over the world – in a variety of industries and applications.

At the next time, we are looking for the Head of Project Management (m/w/d) as an important member of the Management Board. You control project management proactively with regard to the timely order processing, compliance with the calculated costs and the demand-oriented quality of plants and products. You are responsible for the tasks of customer communication, construction, purchasing, material disposition, coordination of foreign processing and production documents for ongoing orders. You guide the professionally established and dynamic team of five engineers professionally and disciplinaryly and ensure the optimal utilization of the department. You support sales in the creation of the offer and implement the QMH specifications. As a member of the leadership, You report directly to the Technical Director and work closely with it.

You have completed a technically oriented study (e.g. mechatronics or mechanical engineering), alternatively a comparable training. You bring several years of expertise and leadership experience from project management and/or design, ideally from machine and plant engineering or the metal industry. You are a sovereign and convincing leader who understands himself as part of the team and can inspire and win people for common goals. You take responsibility, think entrepreneurially, have commercial know-how and enjoy the design and optimization of processes and procedures. You feel comfortable in medium-sized, family-shaped structures, bring their own ideas and pack them up.
