Senior Consultant (m/w/d) for the clinic and polyclinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy

As of 1 July 2025, the body must be permanently occupied for 18 months in full and part-time employment. Remuneration is carried out in accordance with the rules of the collective agreement for the public service of the countries (TV-L) and is possible in the E13 TV-L remuneration group if the personal conditions are met.

Needs all your skills - your area of responsibility: In this position, you take responsibility for the entire course of a study, from planning to implementation. They are responsible for the development and structuring of the study and ensure that all necessary steps are implemented precisely and efficiently. This includes, in particular, the recruitment and investigation of subjects as well as the management and preprocessing of the collected data. Another important part of your activity is the evaluation of the study data and the associated data, in which you carry out deep analyses and develop relevant results. Based on these evaluations, you will create scientific publications and presentations that serve to publish and communicate the research results. In addition, you take over the creation and holding of lectures both at home and abroad to present the research results to an international audience. In addition, you are involved in the process of creating third-party applications in order to finance potential follow-up projects and to secure research in the long term. You will also take over the guidance of trainees and student assistants and provide support for qualification work, which will help you to train and promote young scientists. Finally, you are actively involved in building the necessary structures necessary for successful implementation and further development of the study. Their organizational and scientific skills contribute significantly to the success of the project.

Perfect - Your profile:

a university degree (master or diploma) in psychology, cognition neuroscience or related disciplines Experience in carrying out behavioral psychological experiments, including recruitment and coordination of participants Experiences in behavioral and neuroscience methods such as eye tracking, EKG, EEG or fMRI are desirable. Knowledge of statistics (e.g. R), experimental psychology and clinical diagnosis Very good communication, organizational and team skills Timely flexibility and professional handling of test subjects Very good written and oral English knowledge (C1) and at least basic knowledge in German (A2) A strong interest in social clinical cognition, neuroscience methods and affective disorders
