Our client is a leading, traditional company in the maritime sector and specializes in innovative shipbuilding at several national/international locations.

As a central support for our customer's compliance department, you actively drive forward the continuous optimization and further development of the compliance management system. As a Compliance Officer (m/w/d), you can consult the departments and international locations on all compliance issues, such as anti-corruption and anti-money laundering. Ideally, you will even bring first points of contact in Human Rights Management or as human rights officers. You identify and evaluate compliance risks, accompany internal audit processes and ensure the implementation and maintenance of necessary measures. You are responsible for the introduction and further development of internal guidelines and ensure that You always meet the current regulatory requirements. Through the analysis and risk-based assessment of external partners, you contribute to secure decision-making processes in the business partner compliance. In addition, you develop and carry out internal compliance training independently - making an important contribution to further anchoring a sustainable compliance culture throughout the company.

You have a successfully completed degree in law, economic law, economics or a comparable degree. Ideally, you will bring hand-resistant professional experience in a compliance department or in the advice/testing of compliance management systems. You have pronounced analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate compliance risks. You convince by their pronounced communication strength, paired with integrity, structured approach and organizational skill. You work independently and in a solution-oriented manner and at the same time are characterized by a pronounced team capacity. You are open to occasional missions, while very good English knowledge in word and writing round off your profile.
