Side cook (m/f/d)

Are you looking for a responsible task where you can actively introduce your cooking experience for the supply of delicious food for our psychiatric residents and your colleagues?

In the nursing home house Alexandra in the Ebsdorfergrund about 60 employees take care of the well-being and care of about 50 psychiatrically ill residents. In our fully equipped kitchen we cook fresh and regional daily.

We are a clear, experienced, private institution specializing in the home care of people with mental impairment. At three locations in Hesse, our team provides caregivers, everyday companions and ergotherapists in small, friendly facilities to our residents.

We are also constantly intensifying ourselves to motivated nursing staff (m/w/d), who are interested in nursing and daily dealing with mentally ill people.

If we are looking / Your Post 

• You perform work for our experienced cook
• Self-preparation and preparation of fresh food of all kinds (hot and cold)
• They prepare ingredients for at least three meals a day (including cutting vegetables and preparation for dishes)
• Support in food presentation, serving preparation and food output
• Thanks to you, the kitchen always remains clean and tidy
• compliance with hygiene and safety regulations and quality standards
• Support in carrying out special events (summer festival)
• You represent our experienced cook (master) during your holiday
• Working hours 6.00 – 13.30 – Monday to Friday – ideally every second weekend – so willingness to work for a weekend and holiday
• Assistant (m/w/d) – Kitchen / Working hours 6.00 – 13.30 or 14.30 – 20.00

Your profile:

• Completed training as a co-cook (m/w/d), specialist kitchen (m/w/d) or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in community catering or gastronomy of advantage
• Experience in food preparation
• Quality awareness, positive attitude and team spirit
• readiness and interest in the preparation of food.
• Reliability and a high degree of sense of responsibility (including respect for hygiene rules)
• German knowledge: at least certificate B 2
